IBM Academic Program: Guest lecture on Process Mining and Robotics Process Automation (RPA)
Facilitators: Jenny Khuc, Process Mining & RPA Technical Specialist – Automation, IBM Technology
Attendees: Universities Students
Zoom link: https://asu.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZIuf-6srz0iHNxulJvgm4b-mpF-iktk1n0c
Expected Outcomes:
While intelligent automation tools like robot process automation and artificial intelligence have transformed the way organizations work, there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. It’s important to figure out where automation would be most helpful, and where it might even be detrimental. In this seminar, IBM Specialist will provide an introduction to Process Mining and RPA solutions with demonstration of concepts and features. At the end of the semiar, student will gain an overview understanding of Process Mining and RPA capacities, get updated on the current process automation landscape and be able to identify use cases where these solutions can be applied.
Students from various academic background are welcome to participate in the training as the softwares have low code environment which does not require deep technical knowledge. However, basic understanding of computing logic such as if/else, loop structure will be beneficial to progress through the lab exercises quickly.
