Expected Outcomes: The workshop introduces design thinking and how it can be implemented in organizations. It helps students understand the the philosophy and processes of design thinking and how to apply them to understand users better and provide solutions creatively. The workshop will focus on promoting human-centric problem-solving and innovation within organizations. At the end of the workshop, students will be able to:
• Gain foundational and practical understanding of the essential design thinking skills and mindsets
• Learn how to understand problems from the users’ perspective
• Learn to use ideation techniques to quickly generate ideas and prioritize a concept
• Learn how to de-risk your new ideas by gaining feedback through rapid prototypes and pitching
